The ideal candidate will have a degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance, or have a basic understanding of accounting principles as well as the ambition of becoming a qualified accountant.
The day-to-day role includes:
- Recording transactions, including bank activity
- Calculating accruals and prepayments
- Generating a trial balance and statutory accounts
- Preparing tax computations and returns for Gibraltar-registered companies
